Preparation
- In a bowl, mix your steak strips with paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and soy sauce until fully coated.
Cooking the Pasta
- Boil the rotini according to the package instructions until it reaches al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Rinse it briefly after cooking.
Searing the Steak
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil and butter over medium-high heat. Add the seasoned steak strips and cook until browned, about 3-4 minutes. Remove from skillet.
Preparing the Sauce
- In the same skillet, melt more butter and sauté the minced garlic until fragrant. Pour in the heavy cream, shredded cheddar cheese, paprika, chili flakes, salt, and pepper. Stir until smooth.
Combining and Serving
- Toss the cooked pasta into the skillet with the sauce. Mix well and top with the steak bits and fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
Perfect for a weeknight dinner; pairs well with garlic bread or a side salad. To retain creaminess when reheating, add a splash of cream or broth.
