Ingredients

  • 4 pieces chicken drumsticks Use skin-on for extra crispiness.
  • 2 tbsp olive oil For marinating the chicken.
  • 1 tsp paprika For added flavor.
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • to taste Salt
  • 1/2 cup grated cheese Use your favorite cheese.
For the Salad
  • 1 cup lettuce Washed and torn.
  • 1/2 pieces cucumber, sliced
  • to taste Cherry tomatoes Halved or left whole.
  • 1 tbsp olive oil + lemon juice For dressing the salad.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
  2. Season the chicken by rubbing it with olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, black pepper, and salt.
  3. Sprinkle grated cheese over the seasoned chicken.
  4. Place the chicken drumsticks in a baking dish.
Cooking
  1. Bake the chicken in the preheated oven until golden and crispy, about 30 minutes, flipping halfway through.
Salad Preparation
  1. In a bowl, toss together the lettuce, cucumber, and cherry tomatoes.
  2. Dress the salad with olive oil and lemon juice.
Serving
  1. Serve the crispy chicken with the fresh salad.
  2. Optionally drizzle extra lemon juice over the salad for added zest.
