Ingredients

  • 1 cup beef strips Use flank steak or sirloin for optimal tenderness.
  • 1 cup French fries Can be fried or baked until crispy.
  • 1/2 cup bell peppers (red, green, yellow) Feel free to customize with your favorite vegetables.
  • 1/4 cup onion, sliced
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce Adjust to taste.
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tsp garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp oil For cooking.
  • 1 tsp cornstarch
  • Salt & black pepper To taste.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Toss beef with soy sauce, garlic, and cornstarch.
Cooking
  1. Fry or bake fries until crispy.
  2. Sear beef on high heat until browned.
  3. Add in bell peppers, onion, and oyster sauce, and stir-fry until veggies are tender.
Serving
  1. Serve beef stir-fry over fries and garnish with green onions or sesame seeds for extra flavor.

Notes

Allow leftovers to cool, then store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. Reheat in a microwave or skillet. For a spicy version, add chili pepper or hot sauce. You can also swap fries for rice.
