  • 1 pound ground beef Make sure to drain any excess fat.
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese Use sharp cheddar for stronger flavor.
  • 0.5 cup Bisquick mix
  • 1 cup milk Can use low-fat milk or substitute.
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce Adds extra flavor.

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat until it’s cooked through, then drain any excess fat.
  3. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the Bisquick mix, milk, eggs, salt, and pepper until smooth and creamy.
  4. Spread the cooked beef evenly in a pie dish, then sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese on top.
  5. Pour the Bisquick mixture over the beef and cheese, and drizzle the Worcestershire sauce on top.
Baking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and feels set.
  2. Let cool for a few minutes before slicing. Serve warm.

Notes

For serving, pair with a green salad, mashed potatoes, or steamed vegetables. For a Southern twist, serve with black-eyed peas and pickles. To store, cool to room temperature, cover, and keep in the fridge for 3 days or freeze tightly wrapped for up to 2 months.
