Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat until it’s cooked through, then drain any excess fat.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the Bisquick mix, milk, eggs, salt, and pepper until smooth and creamy.
- Spread the cooked beef evenly in a pie dish, then sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese on top.
- Pour the Bisquick mixture over the beef and cheese, and drizzle the Worcestershire sauce on top.
Baking
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and feels set.
- Let cool for a few minutes before slicing. Serve warm.
Notes
For serving, pair with a green salad, mashed potatoes, or steamed vegetables. For a Southern twist, serve with black-eyed peas and pickles. To store, cool to room temperature, cover, and keep in the fridge for 3 days or freeze tightly wrapped for up to 2 months.
