Preparation
- Toss beef cubes in salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet until shimmering, then add beef. Sear for 5-7 minutes until browned.
- Add the thinly sliced onions to the skillet and cook until golden and fragrant, about 3 minutes.
Cooking the Beef
- Stir in BBQ sauce, honey, and soy sauce. Let it simmer for 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Cooking the Fries
- Toss potato fries with vegetable oil and a teaspoon of salt in a bowl.
- Spread fries on a baking sheet and bake at 425°F (220°C) for 30-35 minutes until golden and crispy.
- Flip fries halfway through to ensure even cooking.
Making the Coleslaw
- In a separate bowl, mix shredded cabbage, julienned carrots, mayonnaise, lemon juice, sugar, salt, and pepper. Stir until all ingredients are coated evenly.
Assembly & Serving
- Serve sticky BBQ beef bites hot alongside crispy fries and creamy coleslaw.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and lime wedges. Prepare the coleslaw close to serving time for the freshest taste.
