  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce Use natural ingredient BBQ sauce for best flavor.
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce Substitute with coconut aminos for a soy-free option.
For the Fries
  • 2 lbs frozen French fries Cook according to package instructions.
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
For the Coleslaw
  • 3 cups shredded green cabbage
  • 1 cup shredded purple cabbage
  • 1 piece carrot, shredded
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise Substitute with vegan mayo for a dairy-free option.
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tsp sugar

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, toss chicken drumsticks with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper until well coated.
  3. Place the seasoned drumsticks on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
Cooking
  1. Bake the chicken for 35-40 minutes until the skin is golden brown and crispy.
  2. During the last 10 minutes of baking, mix BBQ sauce, honey, and Worcestershire sauce in a bowl, then brush over chicken.
  3. While the chicken is baking, cook the French fries according to package instructions until crispy.
  4. In a bowl, combine shredded cabbage and carrot. In another bowl, mix mayonnaise, vinegar, sugar, salt, and pepper, then toss with the cabbage.

  1. Serve the sticky BBQ chicken drumsticks with crispy fries and coleslaw, garnished with fresh parsley.
