Preparation
- Marinate the beef in a blend of soy sauce, sweet chili sauce, oyster sauce, honey, and black pepper for at least 30 minutes.
- Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the beef strips and cook until browned, about 3-4 minutes per side.
- Add minced garlic and grated ginger, cooking for another minute.
- Stir in the soy sauce mixture and let it bubble until thick.
- Add sliced red bell pepper, stirring until tender, about 2-3 minutes.
- While the beef is cooking, fry or air-fry the potatoes until they are golden and crispy (15-20 minutes). Season with salt.
- In a bowl, combine shredded cabbage, grated carrots, sliced red onion, mayonnaise, lemon juice, salt, and pepper for coleslaw.
- Plate by arranging the fries, coleslaw, and sticky beef. Garnish with fresh parsley and lime.
Notes
For a spicier kick, add diced jalapeños or chili flakes. For a lighter version, swap fries for sweet potato fries.
