Ingredients
  

For the Chicken
  • 3 pieces chicken drumsticks Look for plump, fresh drumsticks with nice color.
  • 1 tbsp BBQ or glaze sauce Can use homemade BBQ sauce for a fresher taste.
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt, pepper & spices to taste Add your favorite seasonings for more flavor.
For the Fries
  • 2 cups French fries Opt for thick-cut varieties to ensure crispiness.
For the Salad
  • 1 cup lettuce leaves Freshly washed.
  • 1/2 pieces cucumber, sliced
  • 1/2 pieces red onion, sliced
  • 1/2 cup cherry tomatoes
For Serving
  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise or creamy dip A dairy-free alternative can be used.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Drizzle olive oil over the chicken drumsticks and season generously with salt, pepper, and your favorite spices.
Baking
  1. Place the seasoned drumsticks on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
  2. Cook them for about 30-35 minutes until golden brown and reach an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
Glazing
  1. Brush a thick layer of BBQ sauce over the drumsticks and broil for an additional 3-5 minutes.
  2. Watch closely to avoid burning.
Cooking the Fries
  1. Prepare your French fries until they are golden and crispy.
Preparing the Salad
  1. In a bowl, toss together the fresh lettuce, sliced cucumber, red onion, and cherry tomatoes.
Assembly
  1. On a plate, serve the glazed drumsticks alongside a generous portion of crispy fries and a scoop of salad.
  2. Add a small dish of mayonnaise or creamy dip for extra flavor.

To store, refrigerate for up to three days or freeze for up to three months. For best results, thaw overnight and reheat to maintain crispiness.
