  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/3 cup honey Using high-quality honey enhances flavor.
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce Gluten-free soy sauce can be used if needed.
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp ketchup
  • 1 tsp chili flakes Optional, for added heat.
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, finely chopped For garnish.
For the Fries
  • 4 large potatoes, cut into fries Using fresh potatoes for the best texture.
  • vegetable oil for frying Ensure oil is hot enough during frying.

Method

Preparation
  1. Place the chicken wings in a large bowl. Drizzle olive oil over them and sprinkle with paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Toss until the wings are evenly coated.
Frying the Fries
  1. Heat vegetable oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 350°F (175°C). Carefully add your cut potatoes and fry until they are golden brown and crispy, about 15-20 minutes.
Cooking the Wings
  1. In a separate pan, add oil and heat until hot. Fry the seasoned wings until crispy and golden brown, ensuring an internal temperature of 165°F.
Preparing the Sauce
  1. In a saucepan, add minced garlic, honey, soy sauce, brown sugar, ketchup, and chili flakes. Simmer on low heat until thickened and glossy, approximately 5 minutes.
Combining Wings and Sauce
  1. Once the wings are cooked, toss them in the sauce until each piece is thoroughly coated.
Garnishing and Serving
  1. Sprinkle chopped parsley over the wings and serve alongside crispy fries.
