Ingredients
  

Sausage and Sauce Ingredients
  • 1 lb Sausage Use your choice of sausage (Italian, turkey, etc.)
  • 3 cloves Garlic Minced
  • 1/2 cup Chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup Honey
  • 1/4 cup Soy sauce
  • 1/4 tsp Red pepper flakes Adjust to taste for spice
  • 1 tbsp Apple cider vinegar
  • Salt Salt and pepper To taste
Pasta Ingredients
  • 12 oz Pasta Choose your preferred type
  • 1 tbsp Olive oil For cooking
  • 1 tbsp Butter Can be omitted for dairy-free
  • 2 tbsp Fresh parsley Chopped, for garnish
  • Grated cheese Parmesan cheese For serving

Method
 

Cooking the Sausage
  1. In a skillet, heat the olive oil and butter over medium heat.
  2. Add the sausage and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Stir in the garlic and cook for an additional minute.
  4. Add the chicken broth, honey, soy sauce, red pepper flakes, apple cider vinegar, salt, and pepper.
  5. Bring to a simmer and let cook for about 3-5 minutes.
Cooking the Pasta
  1. Meanwhile, cook the pasta according to package directions.
  2. Drain the pasta and add it to the skillet, tossing to coat in the sauce.
Serving
  1. Stir in fresh parsley and top with grated Parmesan cheese before serving.

Notes

Cool pasta to room temperature for storage. Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days, or freeze for up to 1 month. Reheat with a splash of water or broth.
