Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Slice the sweet onions into rings.
Assembly
- In a baking dish, layer the onion rings.
- Sprinkle Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper over the onions.
- Layer the mozzarella, parmesan, and provolone cheeses on top of the onions.
- Dot the mixture with butter.
Baking
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the onions are tender and the cheese is golden and bubbling.
Notes
Serve hot as a side dish with grilled meats, fried chicken, or on burgers. For dipping, serve with ranch dressing.
