Main Ingredients
  • 4 pieces Chicken breasts, boneless skinless
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1 cup Mushrooms
  • 1 small Onion
  • 1 tsp Onion powder
  • 2 tbsp Parsley, fresh For garnish
  • 1/2 tsp Black pepper
  • 1 tsp Paprika
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil For sautéing
  • 1/2 cup Cheddar cheese Shredded
  • 1 cup Mozzarella cheese Shredded

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Season the chicken breasts with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  3. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat and sauté the onions and mushrooms until softened.
Cooking
  1. In a separate pan, grill the seasoned chicken breasts until cooked through, about 6-7 minutes per side.
  2. Once cooked, place the chicken breasts in a baking dish and top with the sautéed onion and mushroom mixture.
  3. Sprinkle mozzarella and cheddar cheese on top.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven for about 10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  5. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving. Enjoy your savory, restaurant-style dinner!

Notes

For extra flavor, marinate the chicken breasts for a few hours before cooking. Use a mix of different mushrooms for added texture and taste. If you like a little spice, add some red pepper flakes or jalapeños to the sautéed vegetables. For a lighter version, use chicken thighs or replace some cheese with Greek yogurt.
