Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface into a rectangle about 1/8 inch thick.
- Sprinkle the sugar, cinnamon, and salt evenly over the pastry and press the sugar into the dough.
- Fold the sides of the pastry towards the center until they meet in the middle, forming two logs.
- Fold the logs together like an envelope into one thick rectangle, wrap in plastic wrap, and chill in the fridge for 30 minutes.
- Slice the chilled pastry into about 1/2 inch thick pieces.
- Place the slices on the prepared baking sheet, spacing them out to allow for expansion.
Baking
- Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown and caramelized, flipping halfway through.
