Preparation
- Pick a microwave-safe mug that holds at least 10 to 12 ounces.
- Mix the dry ingredients: flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in the mug. Stir well with a fork.
- Add the wet ingredients: milk, melted butter or oil, and vanilla extract. Stir until smooth.
- If using, fold in sprinkles or mini chocolate chips gently.
- Microwave for 60 seconds. If it's not set, check and cook in 10-15 second bursts until done, usually between 70 and 90 seconds total.
- Let it rest for 1 minute before enjoying.
