For the Chicken Wings
  • 2 lbs chicken wings Look for fresh, plump wings with minimal bruising.
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp salt Plus more for the fries.
  • 2 tbsp honey Use high-quality honey for better flavor.
  • 2 tbsp BBQ sauce Gluten-free BBQ sauce can replace regular if needed.
For the Fries
  • 4 large russet potatoes, cut into fries Russet potatoes are ideal due to their starchy texture.
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp salt
For the Salad
  • 2 cups lettuce
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1/4 cup feta cheese, crumbled Omit for a dairy-free option.
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

Method
 

Marination
  1. In a bowl, combine chicken wings, olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Toss well, ensuring every wing is coated.
  2. Marinate for at least 20 minutes to allow the flavors to penetrate.
Preparing the Fries
  1. Coat the cut potatoes with vegetable oil and salt. Spread them evenly on a baking sheet.
  2. Bake at 425°F (220°C) for 30-35 minutes until they turn golden and crispy.
Grilling the Wings
  1. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat and arrange the marinated wings on it.
  2. Grill for about 20-25 minutes, turning occasionally.
  3. During the final 5 minutes, brush them with a mixture of honey and BBQ sauce.
Preparing the Salad
  1. In a large bowl, mix the lettuce, cucumber, cherry tomatoes, and crumbled feta cheese.
  2. Drizzle with olive oil and lemon juice, then sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste.

  1. Arrange your grilled wings, crispy fries, and fresh salad artfully on a large plate.

Notes

Leftovers will keep in the fridge for up to 3 days. Freezing stored grilled wings in a single layer can last up to 2 months. Reheat in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 10-15 minutes.
