Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a bowl, coat the chicken drumsticks with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
Cooking the Chicken
- Place the seasoned drumsticks on a baking sheet, spaced apart. Bake for 35-40 minutes until they reach an internal temperature of 165°F.
- In another bowl, mix together BBQ sauce, honey, brown sugar, soy sauce, and Worcestershire sauce. Brush over chicken towards the end of baking, returning to the oven for an additional 10-15 minutes.
Making the Fries
- Cook crinkle-cut fries according to package instructions until crispy. Season with garlic powder, parsley, and salt after cooking.
Preparing the Salad
- In a bowl, toss together green leaf lettuce, cucumber, red onion, and cherry tomatoes.
Serving
- To serve, create a bed of lettuce on each plate, place BBQ chicken drumsticks on top, and accompany with seasoned fries and garnish with salad.
Notes
Leftover chicken can be stored in an airtight container for 3 days. Reheat at 375°F (190°C) for 10-15 minutes to maintain crispy texture.
